Not too hard to find, but could use a little better signage. The room was comfortable and clean. The air handler didn't operate correctly and was very loud through the night. The breakfast was great. Good variety and tasted great. Free Wi-Fi is available to guests and they have a pool and hot tub, though we didn't use either. Overall, worth the cost because of cleanliness and the breakfast.
My husband & I travel at least once every 2 months either to Cali or NY, we stay in plenty of hotel/motels and I have to tell you this is a great little hotel! And for the price you can't beat it! We walked in at 430am no reservation it's a clean well maintained space, the ladies that checked us in were efficient & pleasant. The room was very nice & clean. The bed is comfy, blankets are the new white down, just like all the really expensive places. The pillows are great and coming from the pillow snob who takes her pillow with her no matter where I go... that's high praise!! Bathroom is simple but clean nothing fancy but I was felt very comfortable. I Will stay here again. Highly recommended this hotel!!
Location was good
The hotel and the room was impeccably clean. The hotel staff was friendly and informative. Southern hospitality at it's best! They even have fresh baked cookies and nachos at certain times in addition to their generous breakfast. I will stay here any time that I am in town and will recommend others do the same.
Reason for the 1 star review is the absolutely filthy furniture in the room. Take a look at the pictures of the furniture, I wouldn’t even have this in the dump, but for some reason Microtel thinks it’s acceptable to have this in their rooms? How can any decent General Manager of the this hotel or housekeeper look at these stains and figure it’s fit to be in a room? Are you kidding me ?
We were very pleased with our accommodations at this hotel. For the price paid, it was a good value. The rooms and hotel were well kept and the beds and pillows were both very comfortable. The pool being open until midnight was a big plus as well after a long days drive, the kids really appreciated it. The pool is tucked away at the end of the building so it's not close enough to disturb anyone in the rooms. The breakfast was nothing special but was adequate. The front desk staff were all very nice and helpful.
