At the moment my stay is still in motion. The staff has been able to work through any adversity that I have seen so far. Breakfast has been nice. Scrambled eggs, strawberry and regular waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, cereal, fruit, muffins, bagels, toast, orange juice, apple juice and water are served from pitchers. Coffee, whole milk, 2% milk and creamer available in the morning. Coffee, tea, water served throughout the entire day. There are several restaurants to choose from. From drive thru to Cracker Barrel to Steal Houses to Apple Bee`s. There are privately owned restaurants on the main road. Everything is not far from each other. I have seen car washes and places to do maintenance to vehicles. The locals are happy to say hello if you smile and say hi. The ladies that clean the rooms at this place as far as I have seen, take pride in their work as they work and they work together. There wasn't fighting between staff, that was nice. Anytime I have asked for anything so far they have been quick to answer. There was an issue with the elevator but they were quick to calm and quick to make it work. There is a very interesting feature to the rooms here. There are doors that join the rooms here. Mine stay locked. So far this has been a very clean, peaceful, quiet, convienent, place for my girls and I. So far the nicest we have stayed at so far. The breakfast alone has my little girls wanting to be up in the morning just to get full and go back to sleep for a bit. Looking forward to moving up from here. This place certainly set the bar for my girls and I when it comes to hotels and service. I watched them deal with the most crankiest people and the most pleasant people. No one was turned away and so far I haven't heard anyone terribly upset when they were checking out. I have heard briefly phone conversations of people booking or seeing charges that needed an explanation and the responses were quick and to the point. Thank you for all of the extra towels for my girls and I we like the soap and shampoo so far. The cookies at bedtime have been nice too. Warm, soft in the center with a crisp buttery edge. Makes my girls smile at night.
We had a really nice stay. The service is five stars and then some. Could use a little touch ups here and there, but I would definitely recommend it. Loved it
Booked for a week. So far, elevator out of order. No toilet paper roll holder present. Over the weekend: TV shows no service on locsl channels, but on Monday there is.Bed not made three days in a row. Both garbages in room overflowing. No one emptied in three days. Water flowing out of dehumidifier in pool area, towels down to soak up for three days. Water spreading in hallway. Today, linens changed out. Face cloths not replaced. I go down to front desk at 8 p.m. and ask for a face cloth. Guess what, there are none. They are still in washing machine. So they will be dried overnight or tomorrow? I gave two stars rather than none because the breakfast is good and the attendant is wonderful.
The hotel was nice, especially for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had some things wrong with our room (leaky AC unit, and busted corner on the pullout couch. Had we asked for a different room, I'm sure they would have accommodated us with a switch, but since my child was already asleep when n we noticed the problem, we decided to stay in the room. The pool was small, but nicely maintained. It was nice to have an indoor pool!
The hotel is definitely overdue an update. But with that said my room was clean. The A.C. worked well. The water pressure was a little low for my taste but it did wash the soap off. Away from the interstate so it was quiet and close to several restaurants.
