I couldn't figure out how to give zero Stars Not sure what the problem was but hostess was told by management not to seat anyone for 45 minutes, NOT that the wait was 45 minutes. When we asked if we could sit at one of the 8 seats at the counter, we were told they weren't taking orders.
Like the atmosphere...food was good and waitress was ok. Hubby and I decided to eat here on a Tuesday evening because we wanted something inexpensive and more cozy. They seated a group of people behind us who proceeded to talk as loud as they could through our meal. Disappointed but didn't want to move because we had already started eating...to make matters worse the cook and waitress came out to chat with them. There went our quiet dinner for 2!
Pleasant enough staff. Waited over 30 minutes in an almost empty restaurant for our food. I know it's not a fast food restaurant...but. Pot roast sandwich was delish, loved the dippable veggies. The bacon cheddar tots were under cooked/mushy and minimal almost non-existent bacon.
The menu is to same. Food was good, maybe a little salty, we only offer the steak, sirloin or t-bone.....
This Denny's could really use a renovation. The carpet is really nasty, makes the place smell like wet dog... The inside is kind of worn and grubby.
Loved it. The service was excellent (as always). Love the red potatos and pancakes. The pancakes are so fluffy. See you again soon.
The 60's dinner look is great but could do with a refreshing...
Go next door to Cracker Barrel, better run organization.
