A very enjoyable experience
I love Cracker Barrel but this visit wasn't great! I ordered the chicken fried chicken which was cold and the gravy had a film on top of it. I ordered fries as one of the sides, they also were cold and not fresh. I know I should have sent it back but I have a fear of complaining about food in a restaurant. The rest of our experience was very nice! I wish I could have given 5☆s as this was my first bad experience with Cracker Barrel!
Stopped in for breakfast with the grandchildren on our way home from vacationing in Florida. The service was great. Waitress was very friendly and had some good suggestions. The food was fantastic. I would stop in again any time I am in the area.
We had the open roast beef sandwich...it was good.. really good.. tender beef with lots of gravy on thick slices of sour dough bread..they gave us mashed potatoes instead of the Steak fries we ordered...but quickly bought out the fries when we reminded. Our friendly waitress...we took a few minutes to shop in the store on the way out.... lot's of interesting item.
Very bad experience. I my food to go and was told to wait in specially marked to go spots which now I found out is for convenience only. So asked the hostess to check on my order. She disappears and comes back without telling me anything. Still waiting so now it has been 31 minutes on a freaking to go order that should have been ready at 10:26 am. Poor one on one customer service. It will be awhile before I come back to this Cracker Barrel location. My daughter warned me that their to go service was horrible.
Excellent Thanksgiving dinner today. Good price. Restrooms extra clean today.
