What a wonderful little perk! This place is a gem. I would give it a five-star instead of four except the ladies room has doors that won't lock. You can't say that it's emergency that makes them that way because anyone could easily slide underneath the door LOL. Anyway, it's pretty bump proof and fun for all ages to enjoy the playground equipment. Not to mention it's a super place for a kid's birthday party! Covered picnic areas and plenty of picnic tables, we watched girls pitch softball as well and then a group of kids showed up and went over and started shooting baskets while the little ones we were with had a blast. This park is a treasure!
Kinda run down. A lot of flies around the picnic areas. The playgrounds are slightly in disrepair and could both use a fresh layer of mulch. Otherwise seems to be decent playground and it wasn't busy on a Saturday.
The dinosaur play area could use some repairs. People need to learn to read signs and tell their children not to play in the handicapped swing meant for children in wheel chairs. The swing area could use fill dirt. When it rains no one can use the swings because they're flooded out by the giant puddle underneath.
