Just moved here and needed to find a new salon. I came in wanting to get my hair chopped significantly and made an appointment. The decor is really cute, I will say. Waited about 20 minutes for the person cutting my hair with no explanation, which was kind of annoying. There were two ladies were at the front desk, one of them spent the whole time doing her hair in the mirror away from the desk.... it just seemed kind of unprofessional. I know its a hair salon but, really?
Finally it's time for me to get my haircut and the girl who did my hair wasn't that.. pleasant. She was pretty negative the whole time, even when I talked about looking for a job.. she basically told me I couldn't unless I "knew people" since its a small town. Thanks for the encouragement, right? And she actually made me feel bad for cutting my hair... which I ended up absolutely loving. She first asked if there was a reason why I wanted it cut short, implied maybe I was getting divorced or something (I just got married too lol) since that's what happens when people want to cut their hair shorter, according to her? She wasn't the worst person, but I definitely left kind of feeling bummed out. My hair doesn't look super even either, so that's a bummer. The prices were pretty cheap, but I definitely got what I paid for.. I'm going to go elsewhere for my next appointment. I was going to come back for highlights if my haircut went well, but I don't think I feel comfortable. I'm sure there are 'better stylists there, but I don't want to take my chances.
This is a marvelous place to go to get your hair cut colored or any other services you might want. Has a warm atmosphere and the girls are all very professional and are there to make you comfortable and make sure you get what you want. The prices are within reason and I don't think you'll find a better place in the county to go get your hair done. They also have tanning beds and do eyebrow waxing. My cosmetologist has been there for a while and she is the best in Camden County I truly believe. Her name is Kris Daniels and she has done this all her life so for a great job on your hair please give her a call she will make you happy and completely satisfied.
Service was great and everyone was super friendly and they have great prices. The only reason I put a 4 is a felt like I shouldn't have left with dye on my shirt and so much dye on the top of my forehead and neck. I was able to get the dye out of my shirt so it didn't bother me. I am just used to coming out of a salon looking fresh and ready to take on the down, not to need to go home and change first.
I love when Michelle cuts my hair I tell her what I want show her pictures she tells me what looks the best. She is the best hair dresser I have found in a long time I think she is awesome.
